Jede durfte sich ein Foto, Bild oder Skizze aussuchen und in so viele Teile schneiden, wie sich Teilnehmer bereit fanden. Sieben Zicken wagten die Herausforderung. Durch Los wurde entschieden, welches Puzzle zuerst genäht wurde. Das war Susannes Projekt: eine Pizza! Lediglich die Schablone des Stückes wurde verteilt, belegen durfte jeder nach eigenem Gusto.
Now that our fabric books are finished we found a new challenge for our group:
Every group member chose a picture or sketch and cut it into as many pieces as there are participants. Seven ladies accepted the challenge. Since we cannot sew all puzzles at once we drew numbers to decide the sewing order. Susanne's project was first: a pizza! She only gave each participant a template of a slice, everyone could choose their favorite toppings.
Dieses Wochenende in Wahlsdorf war nun Abgabe der einzelnen Stücke, und Susanne durfte sie fertig backen.
The finished slices were due this weekend at our quilt retreat, and Susanne could assemble a delicious pizza.
Oben rechts seht ihr Beatrices Pizza Mista mit Champignons, Peperoni, Salami und Oliven, weiter im Uhrzeigersinn Kerstins scharfes Stück mit 3-D Peperoni und 3-D Käse aus Tyvek (schön geschmolzen), dann Ines' Favorit belegt mit Spinat, Mozzarella und einer Knoblauch-Zehe, Ankes vegetarische Version mit Champignons und Broccoli, Susannes Teil mit Scampi, Bettinas Salami-Zwiebel-Pizza und links oben Renates Edel-Stück mit Artischocken, Mozzarella, Paprika, Oliven und Basilikum-Blättchen.Na, läuft euch da nicht auch das Wasser im Mund zusammen?
Beatrice made pizza mista with mushrooms, hot peppers, salami and olives (top right, then continuing clockwise), Kerstin likes it hot with a three-dimensional hot pepper and three-dimensional melted cheese made from tyvek. Ines's favorite is spinach, mozzarella and a clove of garlic, Anke prefers vegetarian pizza with mushrooms and broccoli and Susanne herself put three-dimensional scampi on her slice. Bettina likes salami and onions, and Renate only used the finest ingredients like artichokes, mozzarella, sweet peppers, olives and basil leaves.
